Best diet for men over 50
I am going to say this but I have been doing Keto for the past 10 months now and I have lost over 30 pounds and I feel good and I am looking good too. In addition to this weight loss has been exercise. I am a man over 50.
Exercise is very important. I am not going to review the advances and disadvantages of it and I am going to move on because you know it and I am not going to preach to you. We are adults here.
Exercise starts with just walking. Nothing to hard and we do this all the time. Take a walk around the block at a good time such as early morning or late in the evening around 7 pm during. During your walk, you should be relaxed and breath in the fresh air. I am going to give you my four walking tips. Yours maybe different.
Walking tips:
- Get your mind and body ready for the walk and gather your equipment (earbuds, dog, cat, kid, anyone). Check your shoes ( comfortable I wear New Balance because they were recommended by podiatrist and moderally prices at under $70)
- Location is important. I have been a mall walker in the past but because of the beer bug I have not gone, I have gone to my local University they have good places to walk and it's clean. Remembering my old college days when I could do X. I have gone to my local casino to walk around (non gambling) and walk. I take a break and do some people watching. I get a lot of positive energy here. Why? People are having fun losing their money and people are nice to the most part.
- Timing. Make sure you have enough time allocated to walk so that you are not rushed and feel pushed. Set a time goal for your walk and noted on a calendar to mark our progress
