Gelato At Rest Watching Me

My niece is an school teacher who works really hard for her students. Well she wanted to go on holiday with some friends in Atlanta and she had a small problem, what to do with Gelato? That's easy, just consume it since it's a tasty dessert. Usually, you would be correct but in this case, 45 pounds of dog excitement. Gelato the dog needed a place to stay for the weekend and he was not invited to the trip. Long story short, how would you like to RENT A DOG.

Well we were asked to take care of him and not really taking care of a dog since I was 8 years old this was a challenge. My niece came was well prepared with food, toys, food and doggie treats, it was game on.

What I realized was this is a lot of work. I had to get up at 5 am to walk it. Play with him, clean up with him, feed him talk,...ect. This was really good exercise for me. I got to do a service for my niece in taking care of Gelato and she get's an opportunity to relax and I get to work hard with her dog. This was great. Gelato and I bonded and it was truly a boy and his dog story. We got in at least 2 miles a day of walking and every night I was fast asleep in minutes. Gelato was a good workout. I enjoyed it.

Late evening, his owner came back tired from her trip. I was refreshed and excited having just returned from a six block tour of my neighborhood with Gelato leading leading the way. All packed up a ready to go, Gelato was happy to be leaving me for his home in Fairfax Virginia. I told my niece that Gelato was good and all was well but you look tired. She responded I am uncle. So I said would you like to RENT A DOG. She smiled and said no.

Final take: This was great exercise for me. I got more walking than I had thought I would especially with the toys that the Gelato had. I think I got the best of the deal than her. Gelato would also agree.

Go find ways to get exercise and add it to your lifestyle to improve your health and welfare. Giving is an opportunity to share and makes you feel good.

For me, Keto is about a lifestyle of activity and taking charge of your life. Not sitting on the couch waiting on the next commercial break to get some chips and a soda. Get some exercise even a little goes a lot. Learn to participate in life and not be a pedestrian in life.
